Chad Gordon is a Brooklyn based artist who works with found images to generate idiosyncratic, often absurd combination collages. With highly specific composition of clipped, clusters and layered fragments of generic price tag stickers, normally associated with the American dollar store, his work interrupts traditional advertising and confront contemporary art.

I first discovered his work in 2013 and have been a fan ever since. In late 2017 we began discussing doing a limited series for The Balata and I am happy to present 3 original prints today.

Each is individually screen printed and then hand layered by Chad with price tag stickers, giving each and every print its own unique look—no two are exactly alike.
